Salvador Tomnyuy

Originally from Cameroon, Salvador Tomnyuy has been living in Tangier since 2017, where he devotes himself to his work as a painter. Completely self-taught, he discovered during an artist residency in Casablanca, the style that would enable him to externalize his anxieties. At first, in the pure tradition of free figuration, he drew boxers and hybrid creatures that populate his imagination with a communicative élan. He doesn't hesitate to use recycled materials such as streetcar tickets or wrapping paper to let his abundant universe blossom.
